Pat robertson Quotes... out of this article...
He's talking about assinating the VENEZUELAN president...
In his broadcast, Robertson said: "You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war ... and I don't think any oil shipments will stop."
"We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability," Robertson said. "We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator," he continued. "It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."
Dumb-ass said all this because he thinks that Venezuela will become a terrorist launching ground just because their leader is "leftist" and is a big Bush criticizer...
I keep a decently close eye on political news... I've not seen anything to make me believe that Venezuela would be an area rife with Muslim, anti-US Terrorism... In fact Venezuela is a big trade partner with the U.S. and I think a lot of Americans go "on holiday" in Venezuela.
How does he still have a show making statements like this??? Does anyone actually believe this???
on a lighter note... I'm goign to put up a big Vacation update soon, which will ocver all the high points of my vacation.. Might be up in a few parts, but maybe I'll do it all at once...
